Our Values

A Worshiping Community

We believe that worshiping God helps us to meet God and deepen our relationship with God. Our primary purpose is to glorify and worship God in spirit and in truth with all our hearts and all our minds.

A Nurturing Community

In order to grow in faith, we need to spend time in God’s presence and let God speak through the Word of God. As a nurturing community we are aware of the responsibility to be listeners and followers of Jesus.

A Serving Community

Serving Community – As Jesus came to serve us we long to express our love and gratitude to God by serving people within and outside the church. We believe that genuine serving is the best way to reach hearts and that our actions should speak louder than our words

We believe that the church is called to make a positive impact to society by helping people lead a healthy life-style. To love ourselves, God, and our neighbors is the first step to build healthy relationships and make this world a little better every day.

Who We Are

Our Team & Leadership

Pastor Myoung was born and raised in Germany where he graduated from engineering school.

He went to seminary in Korea and served as a pastor. He completed his M.Div. and Th.M.(Church History) in Korea was ordained by the Presbyterian Church of Korea (PCK). To continue his studies, he moved to the US where he worked on the Christian view on the climate crisis and discrimination. He served as an assistant pastor at the Korean Church of Queens before he returned to Symphony church where he is serving as EM pastor.

Pastor Myoung loves to eat and do all kind of sports. He is a big fan of science fiction, fantasy and action movies.

As a huge warriors fan he hopes that Steph will have his 5th ring.

Privately, he has been blessed with his wonderful wife Anna and their beloved son David-Roi.
